What if an astronaut was put into an OT?

I’ve wanted to study medicine for a long time, so I was sceptical when I started FPL. I didn’t expect a test to tell me anything new. I was surprised when my aptitude and the rest of my results pointed to the same path I had chosen, and that gave me confidence. The college selection step helped next. It let me look at undergraduate options in India and abroad, so I knew where to focus.

For months, my son kept switching between engineering and business studies, and we couldn’t help him decide. FPL’s assessment gave us clarity. His aptitude pointed towards business studies, and the report showed which gaps he needs to close to get there. For the first time, he has a clear target and is sticking to it.

Our school worked with the Future Pathways Lab team back when it was an offline program, so I’ve seen it grow into a full platform. What I like most is the dashboard: I can see, class by class, where our students stand and who needs more support. The bigger change is in the students themselves. They now talk about future employability and the skills they’ll need, not only their marks.

I was never interested in science or maths-heavy pathways. After Class 10 I wanted to move towards the arts, and I want to study culinary arts for my degree. Most career tests I’d heard of lean towards STEM, but FPL’s assessment showed me my underlying strengths without pushing me that way. What made the biggest difference was that it treated the arts as a real path. It suggested leading institutes around the world, including in Switzerland and France.
